City Park is nestled in Fairfax's original residential district at 700 Linn Street. The City of Fairfax has recently renovated the restroom/concession stand building. The City's only tennis court is located here as well as two pickleball courts.

Greg Fetter Field is located on the north portion of City Park, at 601 Church Street. This men's baseball diamond has been used for decades by the Fairfax Men's Baseball team. Some other high school level baseball teams also use the field. Greg Fetter was a local volunteer who gave many years of service to the City of Fairfax caring for this area.
