Fairfax Youth Sports provides multiple leagues for boys and girls who are pre-k though highschoolers! The grade determined for age groups is the grade of the player at signup. (I.E: a player that will be in kindergarten in the spring of 2026 is considered a kindergartener.) Signups will begin in April.
FYS believes every child should have an opportunity to play youth sports and offers a scholarship program for families if the registration fee poses a hardship. Scholarships are provided through local donations from local businesses and participants like you. Every dollar helps. Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Coach Pitch
Fairfax Youth Sports provides a Coach Pitch program for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades. These teams are not coed. Games are held on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. The season begins Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, and runs through Wednesday, August 12th, 2026. Practices start around June 15th, 2026, or as weather permits. The games are held at the Fairfax Regional Sports Complex (the Complex), 625 Linn St and City Park Field, 700 Linn St. If you have a special request, please include it in the comment section of the registration form (not all requests may be honored, but I will do my best).
There is a $40.00 registration fee for all participants (includes team shirt, hat, and an after-game snack)
