Fairfax Parks & Recreation Youth and Adult sporting activities

Fairfax Parks & Rec provides recreational sporting activities for kids of all ages and adult activities. Here is a listing of those leagues:

Youth Leagues - Spring and Summer   

 

  • T-Ball  (Pre-k and Kindergartners). 
  • Machine/ Coach pitch  (1st – 2nd graders). Games are on Wednesday evenings in Fairfax. 
  • Boys Little League (3rd – 5th graders) and Pony League (6th – 8th graders) baseball. Games are on Mondays and Thursdays in Fairfax and other locations.
  • Girls Little League (3rd –

    5th graders) and     Pony League (6th – 8th graders) softball. Games are on Tuesdays and Fridays in Fairfax and other locations.
  • High School Rec baseball (9th – 12th graders). Teams play twice per week. The game day could be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and /or Thursday. Games are in Fairfax and other locations. 

 

Youth Leagues – Fall   

  • Pee Wee Soccer  (Pre-K – Kindergartners, 1st and 2nd graders). The games are on Saturday mornings.

 We always need volunteer coaches for all youth programs. Contact us at jkell@cityoffairfax.org for more info. NO REGISTRATION FEE FOR COACHES!

Adult Leagues

  • Adult Pickle Ball  (summer) Teams play once or more per week. Games start in May 2024 and league days are Tuesday or Wednesday nights. This league is free of charge.
  • Fairfax Disc Golf League (spring/ summer) – Leagues will be available beginning in May 2025. League nights are Tuesday's and Thursday's. This league is free of charge.
  • Adult coed softball  (fall) – Games are on Sunday afternoons starting at 3:00 p.m. $109.00 registration fee per team. The league starts after Labor Day 2024.

 

FYS believes every child should have the opportunity to play youth sports and offers a scholarship program for families if the registration fee poses a hardship. Scholarships are provided through local donations from participants like you. Every dollar helps.
