In March of 2022 the City of Fairfax annexed into the City a portion of the Bellon family farm. Frank Bellon and Nancy Africa have signed a donation agreement to eventually donate their family farm to the City of Fairfax.
As of August 10, 2020, the City of Fairfax annexed in approximately 103 acres on the south side of town along the east side of Lefebure Road. The area has been rezoned as M1-Light Industrial District. Travero has placed a large warehouse on this property. The City has issued a building permit to ReGen for the second building on this property.
As of May 16, 2016, approximately 700 additional acres came into Fairfax as an annexation. This is where the Heartland Heights housing development is located. The City of Fairfax has many new, beautiful homes in this area. The developers are in the process of adding the third addition.
