Fairfax soccerPee Wee Soccer Fairfax Youth Sports provides a Peewee soccer program for Pre-K - Kindergarten and 1st - 2nd grades. This is a coed league. The grade of the player is determined by the grade they will in the spring of 2025. IE: If the player is in 1st grade in May, of 2025 they would be considered a 1st grader for this league. Practices will begin around the first of April or as weather permits. Practices are scheduled by the coaches and are usually during the week after work. Games are held on Tuesday/ Thursday evenings at 6:00 pm. The season plays from April 22, 2025, through May 20th, 2025. Practices will begin around April 1, 2025, or as weather permits. The games are held at the Fairfax Regional Sports Complex (the Complex), 625 Linn St Fairfax IA. If you have a special request, please include it in the comment section of the registration form (not all requests may be honored but I will do my best). Equipment requirements pee wee soccer league: Shin guards, socks that cover the shin guards completely, and soccer cleats. Tennis shoes can be worn. Baseball/ softball cleats (no metal cleats) are acceptable IF the front toe cleat has been removed. Players may wear their jerseys over sweatshirts/ hoodies. This league uses a size 3 soccer ball. There is a $40.00 registration fee for all participants (includes team shirt and an after game snack). FYS believes every child should have an opportunity to play youth sports and offers a scholarship program for families if the registration fee poses a hardship. Scholarships are provided through local donations from local businesses and participants like you. Every dollar helps. Intermediate soccer Fairfax Youth Sports provides an intermediate soccer program for 3rd and 4th grades. The grade of the player is determined by the grade they will be during the fall of 2025. ex: If the player will be in 3rd grade in September of 2025 they would be considered a 3rd grader for this league. Teams are made up of 9-11 players and boys and girls play on separate teams. Rules for this league can be found below. Games are held on Tuesday and/ or Thursday evenings at 6:00 pm beginning on August 19, 2025, and finish on Tuesday and /or Thursday, September 23, 2025. Practices will begin around mid-July. Practice dates and times are up to the coaches but are usually after work Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs. The games are held at the Fairfax Regional Sports Complex (The Complex), 625 Linn St, Fairfax, IA. Registration will open in mid-June. The deadline to sign up is Friday, July 4, 2025.
