Reserving a pavilion in one of four parks is easy. Just click here to start the reservation process. Please call the city clerk's office at 319-846-2204 or email TRosekrans@cityoffairfax.org or fairfax@cityoffairfax.org to reserve a park pavilion. There is a park pavilion reservation fee for any non-City of Fairfax resident. There is no park pavilion fee for a resident of the City of Fairfax. Bench Memorial Program
The Fairfax Parks and Beautification Committee has opportunities for residents, businesses, and organizations to enhance and beautify our parks, trails, fishing ponds, and the Prairie Creek area through the donation of decorative benches. These benches make wonderful memorials. We currently have three different types of benches to choose from.

The City of Fairfax has eight parks spanning more than 24 acres, including a 1.35 acre off-leash dog park and a 15-hole disc golf course, along with 2 fishing ponds. There are approximately 5.2 miles of walking/ riding trails to enjoy. Fairfax Regional Sports and Park Complex - Non-City of Fairfax resident rental fee - $90.00
- Fairfax's biggest park. Commonly known as "The Complex" is located at 625 Linn Street. The Fairfax Dog Park is also located within The Complex. You must have a valid City of Fairfax Dog Park ID to use the Dog Park.

Off Leash Dog Park
City Park - Non-City of Fairfax resident rental fee - $75.00
- Located across the street from The Complex, at 700 Linn Street. Greg Fetter Field is part of City Park and is located on the north side of the park at 601 Church Street.
- Playground, Pavilion, Basketball Court, Tennis/Pickleball Court, T-ball/Kickball field, Free Little Library, Sand Volleyball, Restrooms.
Hawks Ridge Park - Non-City of Fairfax resident rental fee - $90.00
- Location: 390 West Prairie Drive
- Includes Two Playgrounds, Basketball court, Walking/Bike Trail, Free Little Library, Pavilion, and Restrooms.
Driftwood Park
- Location: 465 Driftwood Lane.
- Open field space, Picnic Table, Playground, Free Little Library, Portable Restrooms.
Heartland Heights Park
- Location: 1390 Eagleview Drive.
- Playground, Basketball Court, Free Little Library, Pavilion, Restrooms.
Prairie Creek Park - Non-City of Fairfax resident rental fee - $50.00
- Location: 723 Front Street

- A fifteen-hole course that begins at Prairie Creek Park

- 3.64 Acre Fishing pond with Walking/Biking Trail (Must have valid fishing license to fish)
